Dromgoole’s Heaven was established in the early 1980’s.  Jim and Pat Dromgoole wanted to be in the cattle business but had not settled on a specific breed.  However, they knew they wanted to have an elite herd of purebred cattle.  So they purchased a dozen purebred cows, all different breeds. 

After several years of managing this small herd, they discovered that Gelbvieh cattle worked best for them. So they began to search for cattle from across the US and Canada that fit their style. 

After acquiring a small foundation herd of purebred Gelbvieh’s, the Dromgoole’s Heaven began to focus on breeding and raising their own Gelbvieh.  Since then, Dromgoole’s Heaven has become a leader in the Gelbvieh breed for raising the premier cattle in the breed.

Dromgooles Heaven has raised numerous national Champions, Ring of Gold winners, and sale toppers.
